All money raised will fund services through Living Healed, Inc. that:

Raise Awareness: Brings visibility to mental health struggles and suicide prevention, helping reduce stigma and encourage open conversations.

Educate the Community: Shares resources, warning signs, and ways to support those in crisis.

Foster Compassion: Unites participants around empathy, understanding, and hope.

Build Connection: Creates a supportive environment where individuals feel seen, heard, and less alone.

Promote Early Intervention: Encourages people to seek help sooner and check in on others.

Provide for Support Services: Helps fund counseling, crisis support, and educational programs.

Honor & Remember: Provides a meaningful way to remember loved ones and inspire healing.
For our 1st Annual Out of the Dark Community Walk in November 2025, we partnered with the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention. We had nearly 400 participants and raised over $14,000.
The Eunice City Police and our VFW Veterans lead the walk as we honored those first responders and veterans, who are among the highest suicide rate population.
Together we walked in solidarity, remembering and honoring our own loved ones who have died by suicide and those we know are struggling with mental health challenges.
Youth from area schools participated by offering encouragement to the walkers.

In March 2026, through the coordination of Living Healed, Our Savior's Church, Eunice, hosted a Mental Health First Aid Training in which 20 participants received certification.
In April 2026, we presented a Suicide Education, Prevention, and Safety Training to the Eunice VFW.
